Obituary
BREWER - Winnie Cook, 79, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born October 21, 1936, in Bryson City, North Carolina to Julius and Ida Ethel Ball. She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales and watching TV. She loved spending time with her family.
There will be no funeral service. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Johnson of Brewer; one son, Eric Ledford of Orlando, Florida; one sister, Minnie Bartlett of Ashville, North Carolina; one brother, Roy Bell of Bryson City, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
