Wilton "Mac" McDaniel entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2024. Beloved husband of Martha Conwill McDaniel for 44 years. Son of the late Riley S. McDaniel and Maude Bennett McDaniel. Brother of the late Juanita Langston, Wiley S. McDaniel (Alita), his twin Milton McDaniel (Norma), Clifford McDaniel (Susie), Eugene McDaniel (Ruth), Riley McDaniel (Barbara), Laura Whitehead, and Christine Seeley (George). Age 82 years, a native of Montpelier, LA and resident of Belle Chasse and Algiers, LA. Mac worked in Africa in the oil industry for ten years before coming back to Louisiana to start Bellemeade Shell Station. He then expanded to ten stations in the local area over the next 35 years. In his spare time he was an avid football and sports fan, and was an active longtime member of the Belle Chasse Lions Club and Belle Chasse United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Conwill McDaniel of New Orleans, LA; one brother-in-law, Teddy Conwill (Brenda) of Shannon; one sister-in-law, Sarah Holliman (Douglas) of Caledonia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00am - 12:00pm  Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lee Funeral Home with funeral service following at 12:00pm in the chapel with Bro. Joe Dye officiating.  Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Hunter Conwill, Zakk Redden, Schuylar Redden, Blake Holliman, Brad Holliman, and Dustin Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Brent Conwill and Brian Holliman.
