Tupelo - Willie Dell Collins, 88, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at West Point Nursing Home. He was born February 14, 1921 in Winona to Willie and Naomi Collins. He was a WW II Navy Veteran and a salesman for Collins Pest Control.Services will be 1 PM Sunday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Laman officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.Survivors include one son, Terry Collins; three step-sons, Billy Riggs (Mavis) of Nettleton, Jimmy Riggs (Elaine) of Mooreville and Glen Riggs (Barbara) of Bissell; one brother, Oscar Collins (Doris) of Forrest City, AR; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mamie Riggs Collins; one son Billy Collins; three brothers, Dalton Collins, George Collins and Dorsey Collins; two sisters, Lois Tullus and Jewel Scoggens.Pallbearers will be Buddy Collins, Billy Riggs, Darren Riggs, Brian Riggs, Edwayne Peeples and Darel Nicholson.Visitation will be 11 AM till service time Sunday.
