Willene Rebecca Davis, 94, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022, at her home  in Tupelo. She was born October 23, 1928 to John Edward Roberson and Jencie Walker Roberson. She studied and graduated from MSCW in Columbus, MS. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo and the Gideons Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading scripture, spending time with family, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to service time at 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Yates officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, L.B. Davis of Tupelo; three children, Ed Davis (Gloria) of Leland, Lynn Battista of Palm Coast, FL, and Jim Davis (Leanne) of Tupelo; nine grandchildren, Blythe Hamburg, Carolyn Clark (Whit), Sarah Webb, Michelle Gilmore (Kris), Kelley Dykes, Antonio Battista (Aleka), Austyn Goss (Wendell), Grey Davis (Jordan), Anna Walker Davis; seven great grandchildren, Abby, Zach, Catherine, Alyson, Ruby, Wayland, and Lena; one sister, Thais Berry, Phd of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Paul Roberson of Oregon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John Edward Roberson, Jr. and one sister, Pauline Koch.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Battista, Grey Davis, Kris Gilmore, David Barry, Whit Clark, and Lee Batson. Honorary pallbearer will be Wendell Goss.
