Thomas Garland Miller, 88, of Tupelo, passed away at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born November 17, 1934, in Lavinia, TN to Ivy and Marie Miller. Affectionately known as Grandy to his family, Tom worked for Pepsi of Tupelo for many years, and then retired from Tigrett Steel of Tupelo after over 20 years of service.

He is survived by his daughter Ginger Lumsden (Chris) of Tupelo; one grandson Drew Lumsden (Alison) of Tupelo; and great-granddaughters Lilly and Eliza Lumsden; one sister Cheri Petty (Terry) of Jackson, TN; and one brother Dan Miller of Lavinia, TN; and his many nieces and nephews; and his dear friend Beaver Lewis of Lavinia, TN.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carrie Lynn Miller, of Tupelo; his parents Ivy and Marie Miller; his brother June Miller; and his sister Peg Harris.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM - 2 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2023,followed by a graveside service at Lee Memorial Park.
