SHANNON - Thomas Clark, 58, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at his home after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 1, 1952, in Nettleton to Cecil and Ruby Clark. He was a longtime millworker at Rose Hill Furniture Company and a member of Professors of Jesus Name Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Clayton and Bro. Lloyd Minor officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Clark of Shannon; three daughters, Audrey (Alex) Arratia of Beeville, Texas, Erica (Corey) Merrell and Tessa Clark, both of Shannon; two sons, Joey (Tonya) Ausbon of Shannon and Rodney White of Pontotoc; three sisters, Peggy (Dan) Reed of Amory, Paulette (Gerald) McGath and Ann Keith, all of Tupelo; six brothers, Tony (Ruth) Clark of Pontotoc, Fred Clark of Shannon, Paul (Jane) Clark, Terry (Brenda) Clark and Rodney (Debbie) Clark, all of Pontotoc and Lanny (Pam) Clark of Shannon; nine grandchildren, Cody Keith, Courtney Caraway, Bailey Arratia, Brayden Arratia, Cooper Arratia, Devon Merrell, Emily Merrell, Cloeigh "dirt dobber" Jenkins and Rebecca Ausbon; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
