Shannon - Mrs. Sybil Hill, 75, died Wednesday, July 08, 2009 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born February 3, 1934 in Lee County to Charles and Talley Griffin Williams. She enjoyed working with her flowers, listening to gospel music, and her animals. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother who will be missed very much.Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Marvin Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Prayer in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Hill of Shannon, Karen Glover (Lanny) of Pontotoc; two sons, Rodney Hill (Pam) of Guntown and Rudi Hill (Pamela) of Pontotoc; one sister, Juanita Butler of Tupelo; two brothers, Charles Williams of Marietta and Milford Williams of Clarksdale; nine grandchildren, Patrick Bryant, Jason Bryant, Katherine Hill, Jonathan Glover, Brad Glover, Chris Glover, Leah Hill, Katie Rogers and Kenny Rogers; seven great-grandchildren, Shelby Bryant, Lacy Bryant, Aydin Hester, Caroline Glover, Natalie Glover, Noah Glover and Ansley Glover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hill.Pallbearers will be Patrick Bryant, Jason Bryant, Brad Glover, Chris Glover, Jonathan Glover and Terry Gaines.
