Stanley McFadden, 85, of Tupelo passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  Stanley was born William Marse McFadden on March 15, 1939 to Irene Nelson And Henry Thomas in Bexar, AL. He served 20 plus years in the U.S. Army/ Reserve; during those years he served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He also served as a law enforcement officer with the Tupelo Police Department, retiring after 20 years. He enjoyed reminiscing with former colleagues, his cats Tooty and Rocky, and he loved baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Casey of Tuscaloosa, Al, Stanley Evans of Memphis, TN, Jackie Gates of Fulton, Cheryl James of Gulfport, and Wesley Shumpert (Asya) of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
