TupeloRoyce Vinson Ellis, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at his home after an extended illness. A Tupelo native, he was born Nov. 6, 1951 to Richard A. and Bernice Pannell Ellis. Royce enjoyed landscaping, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Rising Star M.B. Church.

Services will be 2 pm Saturday at the Spring Hill M.B. Church with Rev. Jimmy Pounds officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He leaves behind 2 children, Evelyn P. Holden of Jackson and Kesha L. Ellis of Dallas, TX; his mother, Bernice Ellis of Tupelo; 3 sisters, Patricia A. Ellis, Gwendolyn A. Ellis, and Brenda Ellis-Bass (Malcom), all of Tupelo; a brother, Wayne Patton (Evelyn of Toledo, OH; a grandson, Evan Sellers of Jackson; his aunt, Theresser Topp of Saltillo; special nephew, Lamond Ellis; and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at the funeral home
