Obituary

TupeloRoy Quay Bryant, 69, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a long illness. He was born June 16, 1943 in Pontotoc County to Roy Lee and Erlene LaVey Bryant. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, 323 Engineering Company out of Camp Shelby. A computer technologist, he worked for First Tennessee Bank for many years until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed buying and selling antique cars and loved raising and tending to his boxer puppies which he never could seem to give away or sell.

A graveside service will be held for the family at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lee Memorial Park Mausoleum with Bro. Sammy Coker officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Michelle Otts of Tupelo and his granddaughter, Kelsey Otts of New Albany.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Herald and Birdie Wages and Willard and Mamie Bryant; and a sister, Mary Delores Bryant.

Visitation will be 1-2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House.
