Ronald Eugene Harpole, 74, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the North MS Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1950 in Batesville to Robert and Clara Harpole. He graduated from East Union High School in 1969. He worked for many years as a machinist at FMC and retired from MDOT. He was a Christian and raised in the Presbyterian Church. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and was a deer processer. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Services will be held at 12 PM Friday at United Funeral Home, New Albany with Bro. Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Eva Kiddy Harpole of Blue Springs; his children, Venessa Greene (Hugh) of Dennis, Crystal Stegall (Bob) of Fulton, JB Harpole of Blue Springs, James Harpole of Blue Springs and Donald Harpole (Kayela) of Blue Springs; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Katelynn George, Alex Greene, Harleigh Wheelington, Autumn Morris, Tanner Harpole, Colton Harpole, Shooter Harpole, Tate Harpole, Ella Harpole, Samantha Stegall, Nick Stegall, Ryder Houston, Paizleigh Stegall, Dawson Stegall and Gray Williams; his aunt, Yancydine Smith; a host nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Lara Hampton (Billy Ray Hampton), David Earl Harpole and James Robert Harpole; a grandchild, Matthew George; a niece, Norma Gail Hampton; his mother and father-in-law, Shields and Rachel Kiddy.

Pallbearers will be JB Harpole, James Harpole, Donald Harpole, Hugh Greene, Bob Stegall and Robert Poe. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Alex, Tanner, Colton, Shooter and Tate.

Visitation will be 5 - 7 Thursday at United Funeral Home.
