Raymond O. Ford, 81, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Darlington Oaks. He was born March 13, 1933, in Monroe County to Gann and Maggie Ford. He was a longtime employee of Amory Garment retiring after 45 years of service. He enjoyed guns, playing the guitar and tinkering with lawnmowers and small engines.

Graveside services will be 10 AM Tuesday at Lee Memorial Park with Bro. Dennis Smithey officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Childers (Johnny) of Guntown; two grandchildren, Sarah and Benjamin Childers of Guntown; two step-daughters, Deborah Ridling (Jimmy) and Brenda Williams (friend, Paul) all of Amory; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Ford; four brothers and three sisters.

There will be no visitation.
