Shannon - Nettie E. Cobb, 99, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Reed Greenhouse at Cedars. She was born April 28, 1912 to Abe and Naomi Lipford and a lifelong resident off Lee County. For most of her life, she was a member of Oak Valley Christian Church and also a member of the Lee County Homemakers Club for many years.

Services will be 2 PM Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Horton officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver, Minnie Dale Dillard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Richard Cobb who died May 6, 1988; five brothers, four sisters and an infant sibling.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Pannell, Dennis Cobb, Bobby Lipford, Joe McKinney, Ken Robbins and Benji Robbins. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Lee County Homemakers Club.

Visitation will be 12:30 - 2 Saturday.
