Tupelo - Nancy Bell, 77, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Graceland Nursing Home in Oxford. She was born November 4, 1931 in Shannon to D.W. and Rama Sheppard. She was a longtime employee of Central Service and retired after 35 plus years. She was a member of Furrs Baptist Church. She enjoyed tending flowers and watching hummingbirds. She read her bible everyday and loved her family and her cat, Emma.Services will be 11 A.M. Friday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Kingsley officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery west of Belden.Survivors include two sisters, Doris Hardin of Ecru and Jeanette Bardwell of Alexandria, LA; two nieces, Gayle (Sherman) Vogel of Natchitoches, LA and Sherrie (Keith) Palmer of Tupelo; three nephews, Terry (Candais) Bostick of Mooreville, David Bostick of Tupelo and Larry (Lori) Bostick of Saltillo; thirteen great-nieces and great-nephews, Marshall Frantom, Tracie Fitts, Nicole Chism, Chandra McNees, James McNees, Kimberly Pannell, Mandi Bostick, Misti Bostick, Brooke Palmer, Bryson Palmer, Brayden Palmer, Tommy Bostick and Brianna Holt; seven great-great nieces and great-great-nephews and a special friend, G.T. "Bug" Bostick and Katrina.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Bell, one son, Dwight Wade and a great-nephew Dustin Frantom.Pallbearers will be her great-nephews.Visitation will be 5 - 8 Thursday.click here.
