Murry E. Phillips, 81, died suddenly on Friday, July 02, 2021, at the North MS Medical Center. He was born in Alcorn County to E.C. and Martha Phillips and grew up in New Albany. He served in the United States Army and was employed in the Mobile Home Industry for many years. He was a Southern Baptist and an avid sports fan, mainly his Mississippi State Bulldogs. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be 3 PM Saturday at Lee Memorial Park with Bro. Don Sparks officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Phillips of Nettleton; one son, Rodney Phillips (Connie) of Nettleton; one brother, Barney Phillips (Kay) of Oswego, IL; four grandchildren, Stover Phillips, Gunter Phillips, Graham Phillips and Sawyer Phillips (Kimberly).

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
