James Michael Knight, 47, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born March 14, 1978 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Jim Knight and Deborah Reece Mitchell. He graduated from Tupelo High School in 1996. He attended Mississippi State University and earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Ole Miss. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. He was an accomplished artist and enjoyed doing research.

Services will be private to the family. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his children, Patrick Knight of Walls, Smith Anna Knight and Lillian Jane Knight of Cordova, TN; his parents, Deb Mitchell (Dave) of Eggville and Jim Knight (Cathy) of Belden.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Jane Knight; his wife, Becky Smith Knight; his grandparents, Callie Hale, Lillian Knight, James Nicholson Knight and Jerry Knight.
