SaltilloMary Ann Hipps Lee, 76, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home after an extended illness. She was born September 30, 1936, in Tupelo to Finus and Mable Hipps. She retired from Delta International and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. A Pentecostal by faith, she was Outreach Director and a Sunday School teacher at Richmond Pentecostal Church for 25 years and attended Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church.
A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church with Rev. Rickey Pierce, Rev. Sammy Raper, and Rev. Danny Robbins officiating. A private family graveside service will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Rev. Terry Lee (Kathy) of Tupelo, Tim Lee (Denise) of Saltillo, Jeff Lee (Marie) of Tupelo, and Michelle Lee of Flowood; her grandchildren, Cory Lee (Kimberly) of Tupelo, Matthew Lee (Brittany) of Baldwyn, Dakota Lee of Chicago, IL, Rebecca Lee of Tupelo, Kevin Lee (Lindsey) of Saltillo, Kenneth Lee of Saltillo, Kristina Lee of Saltillo, Grant Lee of Nettleton, Beth Lee of Nettleton, and Laken Suddeth of Nettleton; her great-grandchildren, Peyton Lee, Gabby Kate Lee, Colton Bishop Lee, Samantha Bass, Khole Beth Lee, and GrayLee Kay Lee; two brother, David Hipps and Merle Hipps, both of Nettleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee and her parents
Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Cory Lee, Matthew Lee, Kevin Lee, Kenneth Lee, and Grant Lee.
