Marty Olen Davis Sr., 72, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at his home in Pontotoc surrounded by his family.  He was born on July 24, 1951 in Tupelo to Rubal Calvin Davis and Jackie Nell Patton Williams. He graduated from Tupelo High School. He was the owner of Pontotoc Sales for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, and golfing. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davis of Pontotoc; daughter, Tonya Richardson (Alan); son, Marty "Mark" Davis Jr. (Amy); stepdaughter, Bridget Porter (Jody); stepson, Jason Willard (Emily); sister, Sue Kinsey Stokes; twelve grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gayle Davis, and nephew, Hugh Daniel Davis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 2, 2023 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home will Dr. Keith Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jaryd Page, Seth Adams, Mason Porter, Jody Porter, Jonah Shelton, and Jason Willard.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home.
