Obituary

TUPELO - Marjorie "Peggy" C. Bean, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Mitchell Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Pontotoc County to Clarence and Geneva Clark. She was a member of Auburn Baptist Church. She was past owner of Clark Truck Line and an avid antique collector, and she was well known for her knowledge of country antiques.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lee Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bob O'Neal and Bro. Jimmy Henry officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her sons, Clark Tucker (Kay) of Tupelo and Bob Tucker (Liz) of Waterford; a sister, Betty Petteway (Mark) of Cherry Creek; a sister-in-law, Ann Clark of Cherry Creek; a brother-in-law, Calvin Tucker of Biloxi; four grandchildren, Margaret Kelly (John) of Shannon, Charlie Tucker of Starkville, Kristi Fogerty (Ryan) of Memphis and Jon Harkness (Amy) of Cordova; one great-granddaughter, Mary Clark Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Bobby Tucker, who died in 1972 and Lloyd Bean; and two brothers, David Clark and Ray Clark.

Pallbearers will be John Scott Kelly, Tim Howell, Charlie Tucker, Mark Cayson, Jon Harkness and Ryan Fogerty.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Auburn Baptist Church Building Fund, 1138 Rd 931, Tupelo, MS. 38804.
