Marion Frances Williams, 91, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.  She was born April 10, 1934, to Travis Green Wood and Clytee Spearman Wood. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and she was a member of Palmetto Baptist Church. She was a member of MUW of Shannon Baptist Church and involved in many activities with the church. She was a beloved mother and always kind to everyone. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she enjoyed all the family gatherings and enjoyed showing off her excellent cooking skills. In her spare time, she enjoyed word puzzles and taking care of her many cats that she loved dearly.
She is survived by children, Terry Williams (Dianne) of Amory, Wanda Brewer of Tupelo, and Michell Williams (Renea) of Tupelo; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Matlock (James), Elaine Collins, T.J. Williams (Cynthia), Pam Warrington (Ryan), Christy Burrow (Lee), Taylor Williams (Crystal Turan), Amanda Pearson (Trey), Stephanie Duncan (Stevie) and Christopher Free; seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Davis Williams; her parents, Travis and Clytee Wood; sister, JoAnn Morgan; and brother-in-law, James Morgan.
