Mable Jane Price, 80, died Friday, July 08, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born February 13, 1936 in Shannon to Archie and Vera Barnes. She graduated from Shannon High School and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a secretary at the North Mississippi Medical Center for 32 years, something she was very proud of. She enjoyed shopping, watching her bird feeders, gardening, reading and taking care of her cats.
Services will be 2 PM Monday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Price (Gay) and Jerry Price (Kaye) all of Shannon; one sister, Pearl Garrett (John) of Shannon; three grandchildren, Joe Price, Scott Price (Terry) and Jeremy Price (Nicole); seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Price; one son, John Jeffrey Price; two sisters, Marcell Loyd and Hazel Barnes.
Visitation will be 12 - 2 Monday.
