Larry Joe Oliver, 61, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home in Tupelo. He was born October 10, 1956 in Red Bay, AL to Oneal and Ida Ashley Oliver. He lived in the Tupelo area since 1972 and was a self-employed contractor. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and enjoyed computers. Larry was a generous person who loved helping others. The pride and joy of his life was his grandchildren.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held Wednesday, May 17 at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with his brother and brother-in-law officiating, Bro. John Oliver and Bro. Ron Harris. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Baker (Michael) of Pontotoc; his grandchildren, Cadence and Reed Baker; and 5 brothers and sisters, Edwin Oliver (Sarah) of Tishomingo, John Oliver (Linda) of Red Bay, AL, Ann Harris (Ron) of Tupelo, Judy Miller (Ray) of Verona and Billy Oliver (Brenda) of Tupelo; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 AM to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to share condolences and memories on this guest book
