Laree Parker, 77, died Monday, February 8, 2021, at the North MS Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born November 5, 1943 in Tishomingo County to Oliver and Florence Wood. She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress working for Denton Mills and retiring from Itawamba manufacturing. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She loved watching soap operas and fishing.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Parker of Tremont; three children, Tammy Sartin of Golden, Tonia Dill (Timothy) of Tremont and Billy Dale Parker (Jada) of Tremont; two brothers, Birdie Wayne Wood and Joe Wood (Kathy) all of Belmont; two grandchildren, Angie Kinder (Toby) and Scott Parker (Katie); two great-grandchildren, Jacob Parker and Mason Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, J.L. Parker, JR. and one grandson, Truman Dill.
