Sarah Kay Jackson Taylor, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Born on July 29, 1944, she was the daughter of Roy Andrew Jackson and Sarah Evans Jackson. She was a longtime member of Harrisburg Baptist Church and a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Taylor Miller; her son, Kirk Jackson Taylor; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 42 years, W. Kenneth Taylor. In keeping with Kay’s wishes, the family will hold a small, private gathering to celebrate her life at a future date.
