Kathy Jones, 61, of New Albany, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at her home. She was born February 7, 1960 to Charles Owens Hughes and Dolores Clara Buss Hughes. She enjoyed Nascar, St. Louis Cardinal's, and football.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Father Henry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Verona City Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her boyfriend and best friend, Joe Hill; two sisters, Sue Hawkins (Mike) and Sandy Hughes; brother, Robert Hughes (Kathy); two daughters, Dana Jones (Paul) and Sonya Watkins (Chris); grandchildren, Kylie Coggins, Amber Coggins, Joey Watkins, Mason Jones and Miya Watkins; great grandchildren, Josiah, Elijah, Jacob, Jasmine, and Lily;  nephews, Wesley Hawkins (Cait), Scotty Hawkins, and Adam Hughes (Jessica); great nieces and nephews, Hayden and Colson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Jones and her parents.
