Tupelo - June Reyon, 87, died Monday, May 04, 2009 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born June 18, 1921 in Oklahoma to Tilden and May Rogerson. She was a member of Park Avenue Christian Church in Montebello, CA for many years and served as the church secretary. She was an accounting secretary for a trucking company for many years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and painting porcelain dishes and glassware. She loved her children and grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Survivors include her son, Roger (Gloria) Reyon of Saltillo; one foster son, John (Sara) Ferrell of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Sherry (Rodney) Ball of Las Vegas, NV, Shelly (Danny) King of Oceanside, CA and Cathy (Jeff) Scott of CO. eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Virgil Allen Reyon and one brother, Morris Rogerson.click here.
