Joyce King, 82, of Tupelo, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Sunshine Heath Care in Pontotoc. She was born May 28, 1939 to Byrd Williams and Julie Mae Manous Williams. She was a nurse for many years. She enjoyed gardening and her flower garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, February 3, 2022 at with Bro. Marty Browning officiating. Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Black Zion Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Green; granddaughter, M.J. Green of Pontotoc; sisters, Hazel Hinds of Saltillo and Sarah Brown (Earl) of Saltillo; and grandchildren, Jody Blake, Savannah King, and Tara King.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Byrd Williams and Julie Mae Williams; her husband, Hugh Lee "Dick" King; sons, Darrell Hugh King and Derrick Wayne King; three sisters, and two brothers.
