Obituary
Tupelo - John Marcus "Johnny" Funderburg, 67, died Wednesday at his home. He was born October 10, 1948 inTupelo to Fred Funderburg, Sr. and Marie Funderburg Shepard. He was a 1967 graduate of Mooreville High School. He worked for Estanicias of Capri Isles in Sarasota,Florida and retired as their superintendent. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and taking care of his Yorkies.
Services will be 2 PM Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wes Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Christian Funderburg of Tupelo; one daughter, Michele Perronne (Shaun) of Tupelo; one sister, Dorothy Christian (Jimmy) of Tupelo; one brother, Fred Funderburg (Sherrell) of Millington, TN; five grandchildren, Luci and Dylan Funderburg and Rebecca, Garrett and Matthew Perronne; one great-grandchild, Lilly Ann Eversole.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Mark Funderburg.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and his nephews.
Visitation will be 12 - 2 Saturday.
