John Robert Carson, age 78, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Tupelo to Glen Clarence and Carrie Mae Carson. He was Baptist in faith. He was a pharmacy graduate from Ole Miss. He owned and operated John's Pharmacy for 28 years. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved animals.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Carson of Plantersville, on June 14th they would have been married 28 years; two sons, Jason Carson and his wife Amy of Amory and Glen Carson and his wife Lindsey of Monteagle, TN; one stepdaughter, Chanis Murphree and her husband Allen of Nettleton; four grandchildren, Hannah Carson, Jacob Carson, Ruthie Kate Carson, and Rowen Carson; one grandchild on the way, Harper Carson; his best friend, Pat Riggs.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Lee Funeral Home with Jason Carson and Glen Carson officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Carson, Jeremiah Mitchell, Matt Graham, Jeff Wilson, Bubba Kennedy, and Jack Schumpert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Phillips, Tommy Doty, Robert Alan Godfrey, and Dr. Andy Thames.
