John Arthur Bowman, 84, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home. He was born in New York on January 4, 1941 to Arthur and Beverly Bowman. He was an installer for Lowe's for many years. He enjoyed working in the yard and tending to their flowers. He was an exceptional cook. He was a loving and faithful husband to his wife, Ina.
Visitation will be 11 – 12:30 Tuesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ina Bowman of Tupelo; one son, Ricky Bowman; one step-daughter, Kim Hopkins; two sisters, Mary Andretti and Sharon Baker; two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, Joshua Hopkins, Jacob Hopkins and Amelia Ford; three step-great-grandchildren, Kirstin, Carter and Emma.
