TupeloJo Whitt Haas, 83, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at her residence. She was born July 27, 1933 in Jackson, TN to W.E. and Audra Mae Wood. Jo was a member of the East Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from the Bank of Mississippi after 25 years of service.

Services will be 2 pm Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Lee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memoria Park. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Sunday. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Jo is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne Haas of Tupelo; her children, LaJuana Whitley and Joey Whitt; her granddaughter, Kellis Whit; her step-children, Billy Haas (Rose), Linda Johnson (Mark), Joahn Summers (Stacey), and Vickie Avara (Gary); 2 sisters, Cathy Floyd and Ruth Stanford; a brother, Harold Wood (Margie); 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
