Jimmy Carnell Cochran, 71, of Tupelo, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his home. He was born January 15, 1954, to Arnold Lewis Cochran and Mary Emma Robbins Cochran. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a musician for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Joylynn Bailey (Jonathan) of Saltillo.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2025, with a memorial service following at 4:00 pm at Tombigbee State Park, small pavilion; 264 Cabin Drive Tupelo, MS 38804.
