Jewel Dean Sanderford Roberts, 79, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home in Senatobia. She was born December 12, 1946, in Vicksburg to Leroy Franklin Sanderford and Zera Eloise Pitts Sanderford. She graduated from Shannon High School and University of Southern Mississippi. She retired as a teacher and a postal service worker. She was a member of Brewer United Methodist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies such as quilting, cross stitching, sewing, canning, sudoku, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Summer Aldridge (Merrill) of Hernando; son, Casey Henry (Becky) of Richmond, TX; and nine grandchildren, Sydney Meyers, Grant Aldridge, Olivia Aldridge, Lily Henry, Liam Henry; Ashley Gamblin, Autumn Gamblin; Jodi Moses; and Nicole Nix.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Damon Sherman, and sister, Loretta Fritz.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday, April 13, 2026, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Bailey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Merrill Aldridge, Grant Aldridge, Bill Fritz, Casey Henry, and Jeff Barnes.
