ASHTABULA, OH -Jesse T. Wilson, 88, died Monday July 14, 2014, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1926, in Pontotoc, the son of Ollie and Bertha (Gallaway) Wilson and had been a resident of Ohio for the past 7 years. A veteran of the US Army, he served during World War II, being honorably discharged. A farmer in his younger years, he worked at Weatherall Printing Co. prior to his retirement in 1988. A member of the Tupelo Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years, he enjoyed vegetable gardening in his spare time.

Visitation will be from 11-12 pm on Friday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 12 noon at Lee Memorial Park with Pastor Ray Elsberry officiating.
He is survived by two children, Cynthia Sleigh of Ashtabula, OH and Randle Wilson of Dallas, TX; and two grandchildren, Lewis Tyler Fuller and Aaron Randle Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Merrill Edwards Wilson in 2008; one brother, L.C. Wilson; one sister, Louis Wilson Ivy; and his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Tupelo Seventh Day Adventis Church, 836 Chester Ave., Tupelo MS 38804.
