Jerry Wayne Oliver, 76, of Shannon, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at Shearer Richardson Memorial Nursing Home in Okolona. He was born December 14, 1949, to Condie Oliver and Nancy Clark Oliver in Tupelo. He graduated from Shannon High school and was a member of Old Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to Elvis and worked many years in the furniture manufacturing industry.

He is survived by his niece/ caretaker, Pam Waycaster; nephew/ caretaker, Phillip Williams (Sonya) his son, Rodney Oliver (Melissa); daughter, Penny Clark (Scott Coomer); grandchildren, Jeffrey Oliver (Amanda), Michaela Free (Wesley), Anagrace Clark, James Martin, and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Robert Oliver; brother, Billy Oliver; sister, Janelle Fowler and Polly Williams.

Graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Lee Memorial Park with Stevie Oliver officiating.
