Brewer--Jerry E. Dye, 69, died Friday, October 28, 2011, at his residence. He was born October 5, 1942, to Evis Dye and Arlie Mae Long., He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and spending time with family. He also had served with the Mississippi National Guard.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Brewer Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Tutor officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Tracy Dye (Renee) of Brewer and Terry Dye (Tina) of Tupelo; one step-son, Tony Vance of Brewer; one sister, Sharon Dye Minga (Joe) of Brewer; eight grandchilddren; and a special friend, Linda Homan of Brewer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Brew Baptist Church Men's Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to service time Sunday.
