Jean Bell, 72, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born January 25, 1946 in New Albany to Earl and Ruby Anderson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tupelo where she attended the Judith Long Sunday School Class which was a joy to her heart.  She worked in retail for many years and retired from ICC-Belden. She enjoyed playing Bunko, computer games and reading. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her fur baby, Sadie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Young and Bro. Matt Powell officiating. Private burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her children, Jan Eason and Cheryl McDaniel of Tupelo, Tim Bell (Lisa) of Destin, FL, Tracey Lindsey of Tupelo and Lonnie Bell of Palm Springs, CA; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hunt (Bryan), Justin McDaniel (Ashley) all of Tupelo and Brittney Harris of Los Angeles, CA; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Blaine, Jaycee and Eli.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie Bell; her son, Craig Bell; her son-in-law, Joseph Eason; her sister, Linda Basil and her brother, Fred Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Basil, Chris Basil, Stephen Basil, Larry Scott, Kenny Hankins and Don Long.

Visitation will be 12 – 2 Sunday.
