James Thomas Wilson, 78, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his residence in Blue Springs.  He was born May 3, 1945 to James Henry Wilson and Ruby Hobson Wilson in Bruce, MS. He enjoyed watching Nascar; he was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan, fishing, hunting, fabricating, welding, and catching wild hogs.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fay Croft Wilson; three grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Katie Wilson, and Aaron Hester sister, Louise Thompson; brothers-in-law, Randy Croft, Bill Morphis, and Jimmy Hardin; special nephews, Mike Morphis (Carmen) also caregivers and whom he loved as son and daughter and David Dunaway; special niece and caregiver, BJ Wilson; best friends, Buddy and Brenda Grayson, and his baby girl dog, Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Hubert Wilson; daughter, Angie Hester; son-in-law, Michael Hester; sisters, Linda Hester, Juanita Dunaway, Rachel Winters, Dolly Schneider, and Odessa Morphis; brothers, Bobby Joe Wilson and Upton Wilson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mike Morphis, Mike Wilson, Joe Banos, Robert Dimas, David Dunaway, and Aaron Hester.
