ShannonJack L. Northrup, 81, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born April 10, 1933 in Sunbright, TN to Fred and Flarce Hall Northrup. He served in the Air Force and worked in the steel industry for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Services will be 1 pm Monday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Margaret Browning officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen Northrup of Shannon; three daughters, Theresa Aberle (Wayne), Mecshell Leslie (Joe), and Jacklin Carnathan (Dave), all of Shannon; one son, Darrell Northrup (Kathy) of Baldwyn; 4 sisters, 1 brother, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant sons, a sister and 3 brothers.
