Okolona - Irma Davis, 93, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Shearer-Richardson Nursing Home. She was born August 5, 1918 in Shubuta to William Jessie and Winifred Walters. She was a longtime tax preparer for H&R Block. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Okolona. She enjoyed baseball games, flowers and visiting and talking to others.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM Thursday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Okolona with Bro. Ray Ingulia officiating. Burial will be in East Chickasaw Memorial Gardens. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Davis of Okolona; one sister, Jean Waite of Normandy, TN; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Jean McGary; one brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be 1 - 2 Thursday at the church.
