Helen Bernice Northrup went to be with our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born to Hattie Hamby and Thomas Hamby on September 25, 1934 in Glenmary, Tennessee.

She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Aberle (Wayne), Mecshell Leslie (Joe) and Jackie Carnathan (Dave) all of Shannon; one son, Darrell Northrup (Kathy) of Baldwyn; one sister, Doris Northrup of Sunbright, TN; 11 grandchildren, 7 extended grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 6 extended great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack Northrup; 2 infant sons; her parents, Hattie Gunter Hamby and Thomas Hamby; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be 3 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Margaret Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 Monday.
