TUPELO - Harold F. Baldwyn, 75, died Friday, June 17, 2011, at Community Hospice in Verona. He was born July 3, 1935, to Roy and Flora Baldwyn in Saltillo. He was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with family and his beloved dog, "Buck." He served four years in the U.S. Navy.
Services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Mike Drewery officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Marlon Baldwyn (Buffy) of Tupelo; and two grandsons, Bryant Baldwyn and Blake Baldwyn, both of Tupelo.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Betty Baldwyn; his parents; two sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Baldwyn, Blake Baldwyn, Curtis Bass, Brad Bass, Charles Baldwyn and Justin Baldwyn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Hodges, Johnny Owen, Billy and Mike McCullough and Frank Dorrough.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
