Obituary

Springdale, Ark.--Glenda Ward Scott, 88, died Friday, November 4, 2011, at Earlene Howard Hospice Home. She was born November 30, 1922 in West Station, Tex., to Joe Will and Iva Ward. She was a longtime registered nurse and worked many years for Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening, genealogy and was an avid oil paining artist.

Private family graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Providence Cemetery in Calhoun Couunty Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Corliss Revell Johnson (Jim) of Rogers, Ark. and Deva Revell McQueen (Paul) of Struthers, Ohio; two brothers, James C. Ward (Gwen) of Biloxi and Lamar Ward (Jennie) of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glenn Scott; two brothers, Lest Ward and J.W. Ward; and one sister, Ruby Ward.
