Geraldine Rogers
TupeloGeraldine Wiley Rogers, 89, passed away Sunday, July 09, 2017 at Avonlea Assisted Living. She was born October 23, 1927, in Acme, Louisiana to Tom and Callie Wiley. She married Emmitt Rogers in 1948 and lived most of her adult life in Tupelo. Geraldine was previously a member of the United Methodist Church in Whiteville, NC and later a member of First United Methodist Church in Tupelo for 46 years where she was awarded the Life Membership Pen from the women of the Church.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum of Lee Memorial Park with entombment to follow. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. While there will be no visitation, family and friends are welcome to leave condolences and share memories at this online guest book.
Geraldine is survived by five nieces and ten nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
