Obituary

TupeloGeorge Alvis Faught died on Sunday December 2, 2012 at Graceland Care Center in New Albany after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 30, 1944 in New York, New York. His family later relocated to New Orleans, La. Where he completed his secular education. He later relocated to Tupelo where he met and married Sarah Becky (Duncan). Together they raised five children. He retired from Malco Theaters after 40 years and Hancock Fabric after 18 years of employment. He always enjoyed greeting the people at the theater.

George was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 13, 1991.

George Faught was preceded in death by his parents, Mr and Mrs. George Faught and one son, Patrick Bagwell.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sarah Becky; three daughters, Becky Aliene Schrock of North Carolina, Petunia Lee (Tony) Ward, Penny Rebecca (Johnny) Garcia, both of Tupelo; one son, Marlon Ashley (Leslie) Frederick of Carrolton, GA; five grandchildren, Philip Ramsey, Lance Ward, Andre' and Diego Garcia, all of Tupelo, and Raven Frederick of Carrolton, GA
