Obituary

Richmond Community - Frances E. Hughes, 80, died Monday, December 28, 2009 at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born December 3, 1929 to Relmon and Eulla Mae Ellis and a lifelong resident of Lee County. She owned and operated the Quick Stop in Mooreville for over 33 years. She was a member of Richmond Pentecostal Church and enjoyed working in her yard and watching golf and Ole Miss football on television. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.Services will be 11am Thursday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Pierce and Bro. Jim Wismer officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.Survivors include three sons, Randy Sullivan of Richmond, Terry (Pam) Sullivan of Amory and Scotty (Renee) Hughes of Mooreville; six grandchildren, Heather (Marcus) Heckler, Corey Sullivan, Brad Sullivan, Leslie Sullivan, Jacob Hughes and Grace Hughes; two great-grandchildren, Lee and Gabriel Sullivan..She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Margarene Fields, one brother Thomas Ellis and one grandson Micah Sullivan.Pallbearers will be Doug Smith, Harmon Birmingham, Robert Loden, Hershell Pearce, Don Wallace and Joe Carnathan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Hughes, Corey Sullivan and Brad Sullivan.Visitation will be 5 - 8 Wednesday.
