Edna Evelyn Stanford, 89, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at Gilmore Hospital in Amory. She was born May 22, 1934, in Pontotoc County to Willie and Olene Winter. She was a member of Mantachie Church of Christ and a homemaker. Known as "Miss Orange Bowl", she was the manager of The Orange Bowl in the Sears Mall for many years. She loved her roses and watching birds. She enjoyed serving others and was known for giving loving hugs. Her greatest joy was her family and loved ones.

Services will be 3 PM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Milton Barlow and Bro. Kenneth Burleson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 69 years, Tommy Dale Stanford of Mooreville; her four sons, Dale Stanford (Tong Hui) of Tupelo, Perry Stanford of Mooreville, Mike Stanford (Melissa) of Mooreville and Steve Stanford (Bren) of Mooreville; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; one sister, Cynthia Winter of Tupelo; one brother, Bob Winter (Jeanette) of Pontotoc; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Andrew Stanford; one brother, Paul Winter and her best friend, Pat Carr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 Tuesday and 2 - 3 Wednesday.
