Elsie Weatherford, 90, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at Creekside Manor. She was born in Arkansas on November 25, 1934 to Elbert and Beulah Bennett. She worked many years at Wal Mart as a Sales Associate and as a Greeter. She was a longtime, faithful member of Mayfield Church of Christ. She loved reading and studying her Bible. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed working word search books and crossword puzzles. She adored her family and enjoyed the time they spent together.

Services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Adam Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Weatherford of Tupelo, Dennis Weatherford (Diane) of Tupelo, Rodney Weatherford (Sharon) of Tupelo and Gary Weatherford (Tina) of Richmond Community; 8 grandchildren, Jamey Welch (Jessica), Katrina Welch, Daniel Jones, Brittany Higgins (Tyler), Maggie Webb (Will), Mary Bennett Weatherford, Coy Weatherford and Josie Weatherford; 15 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Martindill; one brother Ervin Bennett and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest Ray Weatherford; one grandson, Joshua Dale Weatherford; 3 brothers, Garvin Bennett, Marvin Bennett and Clyde Bennett.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mayfield Church of Christ.

Visitation will be 12 - 2 Monday.
