SaltilloEdward L. "Ed" Gruber, Jr., 88, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1927 in Little Rock, AR to Edward Sr. and Francis Ware Gruber. He worked as a salesman for many years. He lived in Saltillo for the past four years. He was an avid reader and a Methodist.

Private family services will be held at Lee Memorial Funeral Home who is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Gruber of Saltillo; 2 sons, Todd Gruber (Debra) of Maylene, AL and Oliver Gruber of Lebanon, PA; and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Helen Abston Gruber; and a brother, James A. Gruber.
