Pontotoc - Eddie Scott, 55, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at his home. He was born November 17, 1959 in Michigan City,Indiana to Troy and Louise Scott. He was a 1978 graduate of Dumas High School in Dumas, Arkansas. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked for Lucky Star and was a security guard for Securitas Security Services. He was a member of the FirstPentecostal Church in Tupelo and loved arts and crafts, gardening, fishing but most of all, spreading the word of God.
Services will be 2 PM Thursday at First Pentecostal Church in Tupelo with Rev. Larry Hill, Sr. and Rev. Ben Raper officiating. Burial will be in Pontotoc City Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Shelton Scott of Pontotoc; two sons, T.J. Scott and Dwayne (Brandy) Scott all of Pontotoc; three grandchildren, Katelyn Scott, Noah Scott and Taylor Miles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry Lee Scott.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Scott, Randy Basson, Jimmy Windham, Justin Scott, Faron Scott and Steve Gigler.
Visitation will continue today from 1 - 2 at the church.
